At Liberty Barndos & Custom Homes, building is more than a service, it’s a responsibility. We’re a veteran owned and operated company based in Oklahoma City, OK, created to give homeowners and landowners a better kind of building experience: clear communication, dependable craftsmanship, and a finished product you feel proud to stand behind.
Liberty is led by Nick Gather and John Stroud, two hands-on co-owners who stay personally involved throughout each project. Nick brings over 24 years of construction experience, with a strong background in both residential and commercial building. His work is shaped by years of leadership in the commercial sector, including companies like Infinity Restoration & Construction and Oklahoma Commercial Steel Buildings, which influences the high standards and disciplined execution Liberty brings to every home and building.
John adds a foundation built from the ground up, 7+ years of commercial building experience and 10 years in the concrete industry, along with a commitment to detail and durability that starts at the foundation and carries through to the final finish. John also served four years in the United States Marine Corps, completing two combat deployments, and he brings the values of accountability, integrity, and “do it right the first time” into every build.
We specialize in custom home building, custom built barndominiums, pole barns and post frame buildings, and full design/build services. Just as important, we build with real life in mind. Both owners are family men, and our projects are designed for comfort, function, gathering, and long-term value.
